5 stars: Love it! I was going to uninstall it due to it constantly shutting down. but then I checked the reviews and found the solution for my Galaxy S9: turning off the auto-sleep setting in the battery setting under Device Care. Turned it off and no more problem. Thanks!
3 stars: Great app for NPR news. However, over the last two weeks it's had serious issues. The news will not load most of the time no matter how long its left running. I've never had ssues with this app before in the years I've been using it. Hopefully its fixed soon. Phone: OnePlus 2.
3 stars: I would love to use this app but it needs a major upgrade. it hasn't changed in any significant way since I was in college many years ago. I'm a supporter. please invest in an overhaul. this looks very outdated and clunky. I know RADIO is your name, but you can surely still do better than this! thanks for the great reporting!
4 stars: Audio playback still stops after 30 seconds on S9 running Android 9.. As of 3/21 the most recent update did not fix the audio playback issue........................ Reply to the reply of May 20th....Yes indeed it is Android 9 auto sleeping the app when it is in the background. It appears that with android 9 you can no longer permanently exclude apps from being put to sleep.
