5 stars: This Lite app works just as great as the original Facebook messenger app. It does not take a lot of MB as the original, bigger app does. It has just about everything the main app has \u0026 I've never experienced any problems within this app. I have used this app for a long time now and I haven't experienced any issues. I'm picky when it comes to installing apps because the more space the merrier!
3 stars: app has always had a problem with telling me when someone has messaged. no it's not due to having the wrong settings. I've tried this app many times because I do want an unbloated messenger app (is like having a phone or email these days). But I keep having to uninstall it because I need to know when I'm being contacted.
5 stars: Great messing app! Super simple to use for those of us who don't want or need all the extra distracting gibberish that most of the other similar apps have. Thanks so much to the developers who saw the need for a more basic texting app.
3 stars: If photos and images don't show for you anymore, uninstall and reinstall. It worked for me. 3 stars for clearly terrible QA practices from Facebook in the release of this version of the app. 3 stars for terrible communication about an issue clearly affecting a bunch of users. Still better than the bloated, ad-filled monstrosity that is the full version.
