5 stars: Been using this companies products for years. Thanks for the continued support and protection. No need to look elsewhere with such an excellent product right here. UPDATE. Still using AVG to protect my devises, now it's 2019, so far all's been trouble free. I have no need to look for another product.

There is no reason the ads contained within should be for other clearly sketchy security programs, or games that look like viruses themselves. Ads arent the problem, the content is. 5 stars: always reliable. I have been using this app for years and it has always worked as advertised. I do agree that the permanent notification is unnecessary; but I understand that this is not AVG's fault as Android requires it now. still a wonderful app
3 stars: the app does exactly what it should in terms of security, but ends up feeling more like spam than anything else. I don't need you to push notify me that you're 'looking out for me'. It's excruciatingly annoying.
