3 stars: Great improvements. Now with the COMPACT VIEW the app looks better than ever before. Time for theming. A black theme would help us save our OLED screens and our batteries. There's a downfall too. One needs too scroll all up to the top ans quit all filters to switch to s different user.
3 stars: Sadly, I just changed my rating from an AMAZING - 5 ☆☆☆☆☆.... to my now... NOT SO AMAZING - 3 ☆☆☆!!! I'm not happy with my inability to even open a website from ANY email!! What happened? I use to love going to check my email. Now... not so much ☹. The new layout is nice. I really just want my contacts to be synced to the same place. Otherwise, not HAPPY anymore.
3 stars: Changing email accounts is weird as the icon is inside the search box! I would like to know who thought that was a good idea?? Please give us option to change accounts from the left swipe menu like it was on the last UI.
5 stars: Gmail works, its seamless and intuitive without the unintended user interface collateral damage that over thought technical complexity creates time and time again.
