3 stars: am a meteorologist, and the winds on here are constantly wrong, sure they get the clouds and round about temp right but the winds are always forecasted for more than they actually are, or this apps forecast is far more than other forecasts including my own(which is usually decent) makes it hard to use this app for planning using anything other than satellites and kp Edit post reply: again I am a meteorologist and understand how to read the app, I literally did drone forecasts in the military. Even at 400', the wind difference is too much for a standard wind profile. The app regularly shows me 40kt winds at the surface when they is near jet stream speed.

3 stars: I find the app useful and wonder where wind data comes from for Adelaide, South Australia. Question: Why is the Wind Dir. shown as an arrow (assume North is at 12 o'clock) instead of a compass bearing.
5 stars: Very good for helping to decide whether to fly. I love the altitude wind index. Can't beat human intuition but it helps plan out my flight trips.
