5 stars: Maps - Navigation & Transit apk download - It doesn't have a lot of the features that the old Maps did, like zoom buttons instead of having to pinch, distance-measuring tools, and being able to navigate to a destination without having to Get Directions first. However, Google has integrated Navigation into Maps and made it feel like it flows much better, and they're constantly adding support for other stuff within Maps like Waze or Uber.
2 stars: Maps - Navigation & Transit apk download - The new picture-in-picture "mini" view of maps that shows when you switch to a different app while in navigation mode is a nice feature however once you expand it to full screen it doesn't reliably use the full resolution of the screen. Sometimes it also now goes into top-down view rather than driving forward view in navigation. Most importantly though Maps for the past two months is frequently saying "GPS signal lost" in areas that were always previously easy to get a signal. I was thinking this app had become bloated and required too much memory to run smoothly even on my Pixel XL but it now performs more reliably on 8.0 regular release than on 8.0 Beta.
2 stars: - It is no longer a good app. Since the last 2 updates my blue dot is off more than a mile. My drive pattern looks like I'm flying. Will not calibrate. I'm at home not driving but maps said I drove 11 miles. Please fix.
3 stars: - To many glitches and issues now!! Google has got to do something about this. They used to be the best but as they say complacency kills!!
