5 stars: YouTube apk download - Always buffering since last update
2 stars: YouTube apk download - Plays YouTube videos adequately. Requires a YouTube red subscription to use now basic PIP functionality. This is complete garbage because I (like many people) can't *get* a YouTube red subscription because I (like many people) don't live in the United States. Because the United States is not the centre of the universe. I would like this app a great deal more of Google would actually take some time to consider their end users once in a while instead of building everything to suit their own little bubble.
2 stars: - Well, they've done it again. After the new update, the app now constantly tells me that there is no network connection, no matter if I use 4G or WIFI. If I want to watch videos, I have to restart the app all the time. The app was perfectly fine before, but of course the folks over at Google don't understand the term 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it'.
