5 stars: It finally works properly! The app was showing app update screen whenever you opened it and it was the latest version. The solution had more bugs, but in the end Google always surprises me. Apart from the voice control feature,I find that Google Assistant fits well into many of daily-use apps like Google Docs and Sheets. It also incorporates well into Google Home and even has Face Match for supported Smart Displays.
4 stars: Convenience of a voice assistant is great and integrates with a lot of things I do on my phone very well. Recent update took away the ability to type a request to my assistant. Sometimes I don't want to talk, or the background is noisy and my request doesn't get through. It would be nice to have the option when the assistant is launched to talk OR type.
4 stars: I use this app all the time when driving or when my hands are occupied. I keep finding new features on it that make life a little more convenient. My main issue with it is that it can be flaky. Sometimes it responds when I don't want it to, and sometimes it doesn't respond at all. I use it most to play specific songs or switch playlists while driving. It simply stops working sometimes. If it were more consistent, I'd give five stars...
