5 stars: this app has worked for years for me. never charged me a cent, doesn't make sense but I'm not arguing. it's come through for many times when my paid for cell phone has been busy with not operating properly and all you need is Wi-Fi. if you've been used it in places with low signal and still had clear phone calls and definitely text that work from those places
3 stars: True free Wi-Fi calling app, I could drop my cellphone carrier. Not for mobile on the go use, but can be used simply by stopping at any free Wi-Fi hot spot all over the country. Droped to 3 stars as the app has become completely unreliable, stopped ringing, won't receive important text. Unfortunately my numbe quickly became riddled with scam calls due to an apparent vulnerability allowing call display spoofing
5 stars: I never realized what an invaluable app this is until I had to stay in a place with very little cell phone reception. That was very scary because my husband is disabled and the fear of not being able to connect with help in an emergency was overwhelming for him. Then I remembered I had the Text now app and the relief was enormous. and the calls are clear and rarely drop unless there's a disruption on the other end.
