3 stars: It's all we have. We work with it. Except for new device setup - not intuitive. Looks like they started somewhere simple and ended up quite convoluted. I have 3 devices that I have no idea how to delete from my home. The plugs are trashed - still in my list of plugs. When I tell Google to turn off all the lights, it says sure.. then reminds me there are 2 lights it cannot access/find.
4 stars: Cool features that have worked well for my Google Nest Max hub, Google Nest hub, smart bulbs/plugs, XBox, Shield TV with a 4k LG TV. The update today gives an easier to view history list of the Nest Max hub camera, thanks for that. I am amazed that Google seems to know what I want to do regarding lights, speakers and plugs with the names I gave them. I use Globe brand bulbs and plugs which were very reasonably priced.
4 stars: I used it with my google home mini. It syncs audio well over wifi. Sometimes it makes me have to reset my mini to reconnect it if it disconnects that's why it loses a star for me. Otherwise decent app.
3 stars: Trying to cast an app to a Google home speaker for my daughter when she sleeps. But when I switch to watch a YouTube video on my phone the cast stops. I don't have that problem when I cast to other devices and use other apps
3 stars: Decent app, sometimes hard to connect to devices for seemingly no reason. The app crashes every time I select a device after the last update.
