3 stars: Most recent update does not allow you to see the driver's plate number. It's completely cut off from app view. When the app is open most of the driver details are hidden from sight. The alignment is completely out of sync and there's no way to expand the view to see more detailed information on the driver. Very unsettling when waiting for pick up late at night. The app needs further testing for usability and end user functionality.
3 stars: UPDATE: the app good. Rides have been timely in Ottawa. Drivers are friendly. Stop messing with the charges. STOP MESSING WITH THE CHARGES. charge, reverse, correction, charge.... The main problem with Uber is the heavy avoidance of means for customers to follow up with issues. Uber does not want to engage in an easy method of customer service contact with them.
4 stars: Quick and easy for booking a current trip. Everything else is not so user friendly on the app and if one wants to prebook a trip.
3 stars: Took an uber to get to work while my car was in the shop. The driver was literally a block away and stopped to get Tim Hortons despite having already accepted my ride and thus making me late for work (which was only 10 minutes away), if you want to get Timmies, do it between rides. Not while someone is literally waiting on you to get them somewhere.
