3 stars: Fun but man it has a habit of showing me people hundreds of miles away. That's not 'nearby'. Worse when I search for my city, Indianapolis, which isn't a tiny city, and get people in the next State. If you can't find me people in my city don't show them? Also lacks any kind of distance filtering actually, even with premium, and both premiums cost a bit much
4 stars: Grindr is good for the specific design intent. Beyond that it is far from a dating app that will get you anything worth while. But for the intent that it was designed for it is a near perfect app. The interface is super user friendly.
3 stars: 3 out of 5 stars just cause it's frustrating where the app freaks out and can no longer refresh or let you see your messages that you got notifications of. I had to force close the app several times to try to get it to reconnect only for it to disconnect a few minutes in of me browsing.
3 stars: it's the people using that app that I'm dissatisfied the most with. tbh I like that you can find your version of an ideal Man, but like cut down on the ads tho. for real like at least half, cause these things pop up more than acne.
4 stars: The app is fine, it works the way it should, but it keeps giving me ads for heterosexual dating apps featuring ladies talking about their quest for love. I'm not bothered, ads are made to be ignored, but it seems like a weird choice.
