5 stars: Dark mode or a darker board would be nice for those of us who play at night (the board is so bright it hurts my eyes). Otherwise this app is wonderful! Edit - the available board colors are all similarly bright. It would be very nice if one of the options was much darker (black and grey for example instead of bright green and bright blue) Thank you!
4 stars: This is a great chess game, I would certainly recommend this version over any other. The reason being is they have fun colors, pet unlockables(cosmetic), and in game emotes. These add to the game and make it feel more like a player vs player, rather than a player vs AI.
5 stars: I love the game, but there's no explication of several of the features. The missiles, the bicolored pawns I have no idea what they're for or how to access them? Why my pets disappear during some matches? Basic game instructions would be good as well for those not versed in chess. Much I don't understand, but it's still my fave.
5 stars: Zero complaints. The basics are completely functional, the extras and add ons are tasteful, and the community/ player base is strong. If you love chess and hate this app it's probably a personal issue that needs tending to.
