3 stars: Love the game. Been playing it for 3-4 years now. I know EA has to make money somehow, but the power creep and the pay walls is exactly what makes this a 3* instead of a 5* review. I can't come anywhere near the top of my arena without dropping a few thousand dollars and I simply refuse to do so for a mobile game, or any game for that matter.
5 stars: If you like star wars and team building elements this game is great. You can easily play without having to purchase, but it will take a very long time to get the squads you really want or need without buying things. Once you do have 1 or 2 good squads tho you will have alot of fun. Especially if you get in a fun guild. Over all personal opinion is that its a good star wars based time killer for mobile.
3 stars: Game was better before recent changes to character shard drop percentage and overall shard availability. Conquest was a great update but the lack of opportunity to play it. Would like to see more opportunities for cash events. Change all character and ship drops to at least two shards when trying to farm. Otherwise the game looses its appeal. Love the game and all the work the devs put into it.
4 stars: While the gameplay is fun, the early game is a slog despite the recent double shard change, and would benefit from increased drop rates for gear and the addition of a separate currency for mods. Overall, it feels like the majority of content is added in service of players who are willing to pay. I hope...
