5 stars: 8/2020: a year and a half later this is still one of my most used apps on my phone. I check it every single day and the breaking news alerts make it even easier to stay on top of the stories that matter most to me. 3/2019: it gets no better than the AP news app to stay on top of what's happening anywhere, at any time!
5 stars: The AP has been my go-to resource for good journalism for more than 50 years - since I was a new reporter and the AP Style Book was my Bible. It is especially important today as a unbiased, straight forward, thorough presentation of what's really happening in the world today. I highly recommend the AP app to anyone interested in living in the real world.
4 stars: Decent app for news. One thing I would like to see is a way to sort news stories by time updated. I am forced to scroll past a bunch of news stories I have already read to get to stories that are new further down on the feed. I want to just open up the app and see the new stories on top. BBC news app is my main source of news, mainly because it can sort by time updated. It's much more convenient
3 stars: The content is great but the application is damned aggravating. I keep getting notifications that peak my interest only to click on them and not be directed to an actual article. Then the article is nowhere to be found on the app. Do yourself a favor and download the application but disable notifications.
