5 stars: Port of the almighty arcade version. This is my all time favourite shmup, I used to bang so much money into the arcade machine as a child. Released in 1988, it still holds up today. Ahead of its time, this is the game that influenced so many later great vertical shooters, pretty much gave birth to the eventual bullet hell games. Plus... THAT MUSIC. Long live Toaplan! I would love and absolutely would buy a no-ad version.
4 stars: Great port of a classic Toaplan shmup that, like Mobrix's version of Twin Cobra, is made significantly easier than the arcade version thanks to the inertial touch-screen controls.
5 stars: Just as I remember when it first came out, of course I was a lot younger and it seemed a lot easier, great game.
