3 stars: The app is handy for checking in with match, especially if you are messaging someone on the road to meeting. But it is cumbersome, and hides information in a way that only makes sense to whoever programmed it. I wish it were more like the website in organizing things. The only plus over the website is that you can zoom in on the photos.
4 stars: The service by itself works as designed. I gave the free dating coach call a shot after 3 months of use without much luck. The coach, Nestor, was encouraging and thorough. He gave positive reinforcement to make a few changes to my profile to make it better as well as tips for starting and continuing conversations when a connection is made. If you're reading this in a place of discouragement and frustration you're not alone. Keep at it.
4 stars: I like the fact that it's free and personal info is very well protected. The selection of matches is large and fairly good at keeping my criteria for matches in mind when suggesting matches. If anything goes awry they gladly, immediately fix the problem. Very good customer support!
3 stars: Match limits your search options. Once you have paid they send you less options and lower quality options to try to get you to spend more. I bought a 6 month membership. They have also made me less visible and keep sending matches that do not line up with what I am looking for.
