5 stars: Quick, easy to use and understand hmi. Does not clear all faults(those that require additional action such as resetting the transfer case after fluid change). But does accurately show faults as well as BMW software does.

3 stars: I'm no fool, I've been using this for years. Lately I can't connect to my gen 2 adapter with my Samsung s20+. The adapter works with other obd2 apps, just not Carly.

4 stars: When coding the car, the ability to go back and code other modules without closing the app down would help. Also the ability to reset the auto windscreen wipers sensor (if possible) after a windscreen replacement. Sensitivity can be reduced with non OEM screens (according to forums and personal experience) Other than that, great app, not cheap but does what it needs to.
3 stars: After an update today, you cannot force dpf regen, bcs there are faults in ecu, and message od dpf it stay BLOCKED. before an update, you can force regen even with dtc codes activated. Grrrrr
