4 stars: Sometimes there are issues where the phone will ring and i cannot answer the call because it will freeze on the screen, which is super irritating when it's a work call. Other than that ive been using text now for 5 years and it's still my go to for phone # apps. Recently, I purchased a new phone and a phone plan through textnow's service and have had no issues thus far.
3 stars: When ending a ph call and the person on the other end hangs up first, it is very hard to disconnect the call from your end. WAYYY TOO MANY ADS. They block you from seeing and proof reading the text you are sending out. Volume gets lost if you receive a text or phone call on your other phone number. I guess you get what you pay for.. its free therefore, its not the best

4 stars: I really liked this app. Free number, free texting and calling, it's nice. However, there are a few problems. Biggest one being it stopped working after two months. Like, I can no longer receive messages. I rarely used the calling, but it worked well when I did. All in all a great app, but could use some improvement.
