5 stars: 4.5 stars. Works fast and very well, but occasionally won't recognize an interval I'm trying to isolate to get it to analyze. This has been my dream app to identify birds by their songs!
5 stars: Works very well, very impressed. Occasionally get a message telling me that there had been a problem and to try again later, but apart from that it's been great.
3 stars: When it works, it's very cool. Terrible UI, though. And - too often - it can't identify the bird, despite being a very clear recording. Tends to lock up at critical moments, too. And, yes, as another reviewer mentioned, you have to have a very quiet environment. No cars, no footsteps, no airplanes ... no human sounds at all. And it can't seem to decipher multiple birds at once. But whaddaya want for free????
5 stars: THIS is the bird calling app you want! It is easy to use. It functions well and rarely has problems. The difficultly is found when the user can't quite get close enough to the calling bird. But that's birding!! Recording quality is remarkably good. And the app can analyze even my poor recordings with lots of background noise. My backyard has never been so fun!! I would give 6 stars if I could!
5 stars: Highly impressed. Records ambient sound with moving visual graph display. Then I was able to identify the bird call within the graph and app has been able to identify the bird (chipping sparrow, for one of my examples). Then it saves your observation and recording with a date, tim...
